I saw them in Dec./// At The Cotton Bowl/// It was freezing

(Little pop band/// Big stadium)
Billy Squire
Came on next
The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders came out
to dance with Billy/// Billy can't dance/// Billy can't rock either
He was sloppy/// The band was un-inspired/// The WORST band I ever saw
It's 4 in the afternoon/// The Who didn't start until it got dark
They had a light show/// So for 3 to 5 hours we sat and froze/// No stimulants
Sober and cold listening to one of my high school era girlfriends bitch and beg to leave

I got into a funk...
Then/// There they were/// Minus Keith Moon (Of course)
Kenny Jones (Faces) on drums/// Roger, John, and Pete
One of the highlights of the year
They were monumental
I broke-up with the girlfriend pretty quick after that
